You run a great company. You and your team do amazing work and no one can touch what you offer. You're the best in the biz and you've checked around, so it's not bragging, it's telling the truth. You do everything you can to make your employees happy and to keep your customers smiling. But wait, there's something missing. Oh yea, you're not advertising. You're in Dallas, but you've yet to tap into the Dallas marketing cornucopia that exists to serve you. But, lucky you, don't sweat it. Help's on the way!
First off, you need to get a hold of a Dallas marketing firm pretty quick. I've done the math (not really) and there are probably about a thousand and one different agencies out there saying they can make your company a superstar, but only a few can really back that talk up with action. But, if you don't wanna take my word for it, by all means do your own research. And sometimes that research will take you beyond page one of Google, but don't let that scare you. The rumors aren't true. There are no goblins or black holes back there. Just good companies fighting the good fight.
Second, scope out your potential marketing company's own website. What does it look like? Is it cool? Professional? Simple to navigate? Does it say exactly what the company does and the things they offer in a very concise, creative way? Or do they look like they are an advertising company who doesn't even care about how they're perceived? Because that's a real bummer about how they'll probably tend to yours. I don't want to hire a maid who lives in a filthy house. I don't want to hire a cook who can't, well...cook.
A good marketing company has got to manage to impress YOU before you should let them touch your business. You go to The Fonz for "cool" advice, not Ralph or Potsy. (Had to include a Happy Days reference for good measure.)
So, bottom lining it here: Your biz has to market itself. Word of mouth is fantastic for a handful of customers gathered over the course of a slow year, but a full-blown marketing campaign from an incredible Dallas marketing group is the thing you need.
