The message from the Mac accessories supplier said that Apple will release a 15-inch MacBook Air laptop in April this year. The anonymous sources said the ultra-thin notebook computer like the current MacBook Air both sides of the interface, there is no optical drive and Ethernet interfaces.

Apple MacBook Air notebook currently offered in two sizes, respectively, 11.6-inch version and a slightly larger 13.3-inch version. Compared with this, the MacBook Pro is owned by the version of the three sizes, respectively, 13.3 inches, 15 inches, and 17-inch version. Technology blog MacRumors and The Unofficial the Apple The Weblog in the speech on the last July, we reported that Apple is working to develop 15 - and 17-inch version of the MacBook Air, in addition, Apple would launch one of the product in the holiday shopping season last year.

Subsequently, the Chinese science and technology site DigiTimes in November last year said, Apple has begun to purchase parts of the 15-inch version of the MacBook Air that will be launched at the first quarter of this year.

In February of this year, the technology blog site AppleInsider reported that Apple is developing 15 - and 17-inch version of the MacBook Air will replace the "Pro" version of the MacBook series, questioned the future of the MacBook Pro series of products.

Apple MacBook Air series had a comprehensive reform in October 2010, and the introduction of the 13.3 inches and 11.6-inch version. Since 2008 it turned to the use of integrated design, Apple MacBook Pro series of products was over a relatively large external transformation.

Another problem is that the new Mac computer Intel Ivy Bridge processor, it is not sure whether these ultra-thin MacBook Pro processor or said large MacBook Air was equipped with the latest low-voltage processors Ivy Bridge, perhaps prematurely the release time indicates that the new MacBook Air will continue to use the Sandy Bridge processors. It is unclear for the new MacBook Air processor that the launched time is uncertain.
