Multi Level Marketers - Underground Marketing 101

By Jonas Varig

At face value, multi-level marketing looks pretty simple.

But many people join MLM's because they mistakenly believe they can make a lot of money, but they don't have to do a lot of work.

Hey... it makes sense, just get your recruits to make a lot of sales, and you can sit back and collect a lot of money. The truth is that MLM success takes hard work and some basic strategy. What follows now are some methods that have been used by others to achieve success with MLM.These same tools are used by people in MLM Marketing

Some companies will ask you to pay something like membership fees, and you'll want to be careful about that. Pretty much every organization that asks for money up front, before you make a single sale, is going to be shady. The company owners make money from membership fees and then you are left trying to figure out how to earn money with shoddy products or nonexistent services. Try not to feel bad or anything negative when you see companies that do ask for fees. Our point is that you should not have to pay someone in order to work for them. It may be tempting, but avoid thinking people will be lining up to buy from you just because you distributed some freebie product samples. There simply are no guarantees regarding sales, so just remember that about the free samples. Be wise with who you give them to. You want those free samples to be what knocks them over the line from a maybe to a yes. Be sure you don't hand them out very early after meeting them. If you offer it to someone who is hovering over a "yes" but afraid to commit to that "yes" the freebie could help you land the sale. You can manage your money and avoid handing them all out too fast.

You probably know this, but rejection by possible recruits or potential product buyers is just a fact of MLM business. MLM might not be a good choice if you have a hard time with rejection.

The fact is that there are just some people out there who are going to say "no" without caring what it is that you are offering them. So never take it personally. It's not about you. It is the product or the idea of being part of a multi level marketing team. So don't worry about it, and keep moving forward. If you're new to business, it all can seem a little bit intimidating. It's possible you got involved because you heard you could make money quickly and easily. MLM takes time, work, effort, and patience. Multi level marketing is, at its core, a business just like every other internet marketing venture you've taken on. But you can do these things the right way and begin earning the money you thought you would.
