Even though capable of low-light operation, it's not the most light-sensitive video camera on the market. So, to compensate, it comes equipped with IR lights that can illuminate a target about 50 feet away.
We fitted ours in a corner of the room and positioned it so that there is nothing of interest beneath the camera's blind spot. It is connected to our present surveillance system and records footage all day and night.
