Many people develop ulcers or have to have intensive therapy after working in hostile work environments.

A positive attitude will help you when you are getting dressed in the morning. Approaching your workplace with a good disposition will help you to better handle any confrontations or difficult encounters you may discover.

Looking for work while desperate or unemployed is never a good idea. You need to start looking for a new job while your attitude is still intact and you should never disparage your current employer for any reason. Nobody wants to hire a negative person and if they think you are too negative about where you work now, they won't want you in their company in the future.

Many times workers realize that it's their co-workers who cause their stress and unsatisfactory in the job place. Limit your communication with people who are difficult and argumentative. Don't try to be friends with somebody who doesn't like you. It is best to keep all relationships strictly professional.
