My Shopping Genie Revealed

By Freeda Smythe

You may have seen My Shopping Genie receiving a lot of exposure recently, it is pretty new on the scene but has also been opened up to various negative reports.

The Shopping Genie is run by MyNet Universe and is well endorsed by the online giants E-bay, Amazon & Clickbank, this should be putting your mind at rest for a start. As mentioned before the Genie software is free to use and when you are shopping online it will hunt out the best deals for you and show them up in your browser.

Prime Time, a TV investigation programme recently looked into the Genie and sent an undercover agent to the launch meeting in Ireland. As far as they are concerned the My Shopping Genie biz op is a scam, they are stating that its just a pyramid scheme with no products and people only getting paid for introducing others.

The product is a license or right to sell the Genie to others who enter the business, for which you will be paid. You also have the right to give away the software download to consumers for free; it will cost you $199 to sign up. Don't forget the monthly cost of $30 for your website and back office! The Genie founder Bruce Bise is 100% confident that the opportunity is legitimate and he loses no sleep at night.

When a Genie distributor signs up they will earn $100 for every 2 new licenses they sell. Of course one of the perks of this binary compensation plan is that you are being paid for bringing in others into the system, which will of course prompt some to start making 'scam' allegations.

As a license holder you are able to earn an income from the use of the Genie software itself. Those people who have downloaded My Shopping Genie through your link will most likely start using the software when shopping online. Well you are going to earn from clicks, view and sales made. This is some seriously easy money, and it can grow very big!

There is no doubt that in this MLM marketing industry there is always going to be some negatives about pretty much every company in existance. With such a wide variety of people getting involved it's only natural, there are those who just don't like to see others succeed, perhaps because they have tried and failed themselves. Or in some cases there could be genuine reasons for getting the hump with a company or opportunity. You are always better off looking into the facts for yourself rather than taking someone else's word for it.

If you want to see if there are any complaints registered against the opportunity/company in question then you can go to the Better Business Bureau. MyNet Universe (the parent company of the Genie) gets a B+ rating which is pretty good. Their 36 month register has absolutely no complaints registered at all. The only negative event registered is a warning for some of their advertising material, which contained the word 'free'.

To be honest you will need to make your own mind up about the legitimacy of My Shopping Genie scam reports. If someone generally doesn't like the MLM business model then the Genie is not for them..

So your decision about this business will rest on your own personal love or hate of network marketing. The only thing I will say is that it would be in my 'weaker' opportunity list because of the lack of tangible products. Network marketing has unfortunately been tarnished over the years as the result of extravagant marketing. People making promises of quick fast money within days (which for most people this will never happen) doesn't really help the industry.

Overall the Shopping Genie seems to be a good business plan, with some potential for some very nice residual income.

There is no doubt some people are raking it in right now with the Genie, the top earners will be those who understand how to generate large amounts of leads for their business.
