How To Evade Robbers In Dimly Lit Alleys

By Marke B Stimmeling

Being robbed down a dimly lit alley in San Diego is an experience that I don't want to ever happen again. With self-defense in mind, I finally made a decision to buy stun guns online for my flatmate as well as myself.

Stun guns give off a non-lethal shock that can disorient the assailant for a few moments, hence giving their users enough time to flee and ask for help. Upon my checking a couple of online shops for self-defense tools, the section on low voltage stun guns immediately caught my attention since these do not electrocute too much.

After careful consideration, I bought a 100,000 volts straight Stun Master stun gun that I found ideal for my needs. It is 4.5 inches long and has a safety switch, wrist strap and a lifetime warranty.

A small stun gun like that is ideal for females and new users because it is compact and lightweight, and can be concealed in a small purse or bag. Because of its size, the enemy would not realize that I have a device in my hand, that could stun him within seconds.

Truth be told, I always wished that I would never have to use a stun gun on another person. Unfortunately, I was mugged again after my work shift at the bar. But this time around, I was more than ready.

The moment the thief grabbed my left arm, I quickly yanked the stun gun out of my purse making use of my right hand and strike him directly on the neck. He let go of my hand and then immediately fell motionless on the floor. I left the street hurriedly and went to the nearest open establishment to ask for assistance.

The police officer that responded to my call was pleased to learn that I was unharmed and able to protect myself from the thug. He escorted me to the police station to document the event properly.

I called my mommy right away to tell her what happened. I especially urged her to buy stun guns online for herself and my sister in Nevada.
