There can be little doubt that promotional business gifts can form an important component of an effective marketing strategy. Most people enjoy receiving presents and they are more likely to reciprocate by maintaining a good relationship with the company concerned. Particular care should be taken when giving presents to prospective clients. There should never be any indication that it is meant to buy goodwill.
